Papers of Benson, a member of the Ku Klux Klan in Racine, Wisconsin, relating to the organization's activities. Included are a receipt book, receipts, ticket stubs, handwritten notes and a speech, typed notes for a meeting of the Klan, clippings, letters, programs, the local Klan newsletter ("The Ku Klux Klarion"), handbooks, forms, sheet music, and the pamphlet, "Why You Should Become a Klansman." A few of the items pertain to the Klan in Indiana.

Photographs relate to the official activities of the Ku Klux Klan in Fond du Lac, Wis., and the Second Imperial Klonvokation in Kansas City, Mo., 1924. Also included are photographs of documents related to the membership of Benson and the recruitment of members in the Klan in Racine, Wis.
