Correspondence, 1927-1940, containing background information about H. Jerry Voorhis and including a series of laudatory essays about him written by former pupils at the Voorhis School for Boys in Pomona Valley, Calif., where he served as headmaster. A brief history of the institution and remarks concerning Voorhis' achievements as Congressman from California's 19th District are included. The second half of the microfilm is comprised of letters, legal documents, clippings, and reminiscences, 1902-1955, relating to Voorhis family history, gathered by Charles B. Voorhis.
