Bennetlands is a ghetto community in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica, which was once a peaceful place with a primary school, two churches, and a health clinic. In the 1980s rival gangs began a war over the main street, terrorizing the neighborhood. When one of the gang leaders was shot outside the health clinic, the community decided to change things, and local leaders challenged the gangs to heal their differences and work together to restore a sense of community and peace in the neighborhood.
