Description: Commonly called the Death Register, this microfilm reel consists of registrations of deaths which were recorded by the Dunn County Register of Deeds and forwarded to the Wisconsin Secretary of State. These death registrations were later transferred to the State Bureau of Health Statistics. Information may included name, race, sex, occupation, place of birth, age of the deceased, names of parents and spouse of the deceased, date, place, and cause of death, place of burial, name and address of the person submitting the death certificate, date of the death certificate, and date the death was registered. This is part of a statewide series called Registration of Deaths, 1852-1907 (Series 2068, Reel 16), which is at the Library of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. The Genealogical Society of Utah holds the master negative (1310182).
