Commonly known as Birth Registers, these microfilm reels consist of births which were entered with the Dunn County Register of Deeds and forwarded to the Wisconsin Secretary of State. These birth registrations were later transferred to the State Bureau of Health Statistics. For each birth, the individual's name, sex, and race are shown along with the names of living siblings, name and occupation of the father, mother's name previous to marriage, time and place of birth, name and residence of the person signing the certificate, and the dates of the birth certificate and of the registration. The father's and mother's places of birth are also given for births registered since 1898. This is part of a statewide series called Registrations of Births, 1852-1907 (Series 2070, Reels 31 & 32), which is at the Library of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. The Genealogical Society of Utah holds the master negative.
