This video offers three views of boy writers. In the first segment, Ralph Fletcher joins literacy specialist Jennifer Allen and becomes a temporary member of her weekly boy writers club at Albert S. Hall Elementary School in Waterville, Me. After the meeting, Ralph teaches a lesson to the boys in their fourth-grade classroom, and then confers with several students. The final segment shows Ralph with a teacher study group from the school, together examining the issues coming out of the year-long boy writer group.
