Orlie Baker lived on a farm in the Kickapoo River Valley his whole life. His parents farmed and once they were too old Orlie took it over and then his kids did the same. He was a dairy farmer mostly, which he enjoys because of the family setup. Orlie discusses how the farm was passed down and how it changed, such as technology. He also mentions how he was involved with government agencies like the Soil Conservation. Orlie concludes that he's been farming for forty years now and he has never regretted it.
