Dan speaks about his early life and family growing up in La Crosse. Avid in sports, the loss of his leg to cancer in his sophomore year did not stop his involvement in the sports field. Dan was active as a coach, and worked in food service and construction during his college years. After his freshman year at the University of Minnesota, Dan transferred to UW-La Crosse where he pursued a degree in Business Administration. Since graduation, he has worked in Utah in health club management, Minneapolis as membership director at Calhoun Beach Club, and La Crosse as part owner of a fitness center, most recently becoming a realtor with ReMax Real Estate.
