"A 'fond' is a group of archival documents organically accumulated by a person or institution. This book has been designed and letterpress-printed [and bound as a drum leaf] in 2012 in Brighton, UK on Zerkall paper. The type is Adobe Garamond. In the appendix, 'Donnegal" should be spelled 'Donegal.'--Colophon.
Limited ed. of 75 copies.
"The first ten copies of Fond are bound as a deluxe edition enclosed in handmade clamshell boxes. All ten prints [included with the deluxe edition] are housed in a paper wrapper alongside the book. Each copy of the deluxe edition includes one of the original ten objects nestled into a small compartment in the box ... Because each box is constructed to accommodate a different object, the ten copies of the deluxe edition will be slightly different depths. "--http://bigjumppress.wordpress.com/
The ten prints, one print for each object using text from the book, are letterpress-printed on Zerkall paper in an edition of 25 and each of these prints measures 17 x 22 cm.
