Specifically, this includes social and cultural anthropology, Old and New World archaeology, physical anthropology and anthropological aspects of related subjects, with an emphasis on Mesoamerican, Native American and Andean archaeology and ethnology. Published by the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University, Anthropological Literature indexes articles, reports, commentaries and obituaries found in hundreds of journals and monographic series. With more than 630,000 records and articles, coverage is expansive and features works dating from the early 19th century to the present. Additionally, Anthropological Literature is updated on a monthly basis and is constantly adding new articles, reports, commentaries and obituaries to its collection.
