Raj Kumar has been married to a girl from wealthy family. He has struggled all his married life to provide all the comforts and conveniences to please his wife. The end result is that he does not have enough time to spend with her, and she is displeased. Raj has found a sympathizer in Hansa Paranjpe, who is married and living with a womanizing husband. Together these two have an affair. Once as they share a hotel room, during one of their discreet meetings, the witness a murder. They keep quiet. But when the wrong man is accussed and is about to be sentenced, their conscience does not alloe them to do that. If they tell truth, would be the end of their families and silence would kill an innocent man.
