This database includes all the songs contained in the medieval Galician-Portuguese "Cancioneiros", along with later versions based on the original songs. Musical scores and audio files are given when available. Also included are images from the manuscripts, brief information about the authors, characters and places mentioned in the songs, and the "Arte de Trovar", a poetic treatise on the art of the troubadour that opens the "Cancioneiro" of the Portuguese National Library.
