Abstract: In his June 2011 interview with Troy Reeves, George Croal detailed his thoughts and memories as a graduate student on the UW-Madison campus and as an officer/detective for the Madison Police Department . Croal spoke of the time period between 1964 and the early 1980s and on the following topics: UW-Madison, Sterling Hall Bombing, Madison Police Department; the Barbara Hoffman case, and the Vietnam Era on UW-Madison's campus. Croal also offered his opinion on the book, Rads. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Oral History Program, specifically for the collaboration with the Wisconsin Story Project on the Sterling Hall Bombing.
