Resembles a case bound book with gilt edges. The covers are paper over boards printed with images of clocks. When the front cover is opened it reveals a small wooden structure painted gold with wooden dowels coming out of the side. The printed pages are folded and glued over the dowels which have also been painted gold. The pages can be turned by the dowels. One side has a saying, "Time is money" by Benjamin Franklin. The other side has a saying, "Geologic time is not money" by Mark Twain. A folded dollar bill is revealed underneath the pages.
