Beginning with report for 1857, the report year ends on 30 September, with publication in the same year; prior to that, the year ran from January to 31 December, with reports issued in January of the following year.
The board was abolished in 1863 and its duties transferred to the Board of State Charities--Bowker, Richard R., State Publications, pt. 1, p. 35.
