Filmed excerpts portray them in rehearsals and performances dating from their youth to the present day, including the ballets The nutcracker, Laurencia, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet (chor: Lavrovsky), Spartacus, Walpurgis Night, Chopiniana (in which Vasil'ev partners Galina Ulanova), Le corsaire pas de deux, Football (which Vasil'ev rehearses with choreographer Asaf Messerer), The sleeping beauty, and Giselle.
