The first program tells how the Chippewa Flowage in northern Wisconsin was created in the 1920's as an energy resource and musky fishery, and how changes such as the flooding of a town known as Old Post had a devastating impact on the Indian populations of the area. The second program presents a history of the Stockbridge-Munsee band of the Mohican nation whose reservation is located in northeastern Wisconsin. The third program describes the symbolism of the moose to the Ojibway, and describes Grand Portage, Minnesota, as home to the Ojibway and as a significant route connecting Lake Superior and other waterways through which European explorers arrived and developed their fur trade.
