This is the second in a series of accordion-fold clothbound books for which contemporary artists are invited to create original work.

"The art by Miriam Schapiro reproduced in the accordion-fold volume Rondo was commissioned by Bedford Arts especially for the book. The 23 original collages were created in 1987-1988 and are made of handmade silkscreened colored papers and acrylic paint, some additionally embellished with fabrics or found paper, on Arches paper measuring approximately 24 x 18" each for the single panels and approximately 24 x 36 " for the two double panels."
