We arrived at the mine. 
Were hustled in to a cage, 
and shot madly downward 
into the cold damp
bowels of the earth, where 
we saw a few fiery 
glowing spots amidst 
damp slimy walls. Our
feet splashed into deep 
muddy pools that dimly 
reflected the red glow 
from the burning 
torches. An air of 
deep solem mystery 
pervaded the depths.
