"The Riddle nickel smelter uses lateritic ore mined on Nickel Mountain,

the Glenbrook Nickel Co. purchased the idled mining and smelting complex
and restarted the operation. Since then, production of ferronickel on a contained
Ni basis has been as 
follows: 1990—3,701 metric tons (mt) valued at $32.8 million; 1991—7,065mt
valued at $57.6 million; and 1992—8,962mt valued at $62.7 million.
