Dear Miss Themass
The pablished articles which I have copies of deal with such small
fragments of the conservation field that I an not snre they would
be usefthl to you for teaching purposes. The same thing is true of
the articles published by my students. However, you are the judge of
what you can use. I am sending you some samples sad if these do not
discourage you I will be glad to send oe.
I have in press (Wisoonsin Aeadew of Solences) a special paper on
the teaching of conservation, which I think would interest you and
I will send it when it becomes available.
I am also enclosing a brief list of reference terial commely ob-
tainable in libraries or obtainable without cost from the government.
A group oi us here have beeu trying to inuce the TJniversity to enter
upon a new programu which would ultimately result in materials for
teaching. The findings will be published in a bulletin which is
called 2U Aftera d A & g"on tion 2f WiSosi Wild1ife. and
I will send you a copy as soon as it in evailable.
I am extremely interested in teachers' needs and regret that we have
not made more headway in sapplying them.
Tours very traly,
