Dear Mr. Leopold:
I am very sorry that you were unable to come
this way on your way back from your inspection
trip. I well understand how you must have felt
after lo)king over so much and so varied activity.
I con't blame you for wanting to take a rest.
Some of the men here think that Oregon State will
have to make some changes in its personnel Defore
the college can do first rate work. I am not sure
whether there will be any more support for the work
here in the future than in the past. If there ism't,
I should like to tranfer to some place where there is
more support. These have been my fuids since Sept, 1940:
