there were fewer hunters after all the ducks in the
country concentrated for their convenience by man, and
nature. We are sa.tisfied th.t the total kll was leso
in the Central, or breedng, zone  and thtt the pressure
cn local breeders was very greatly reduced. It remains
to be seen If this will be borne out by a corresponing
increase in the breed.ng population next spring.
