Dear Mr. Sohottlaenders
Just after sending you sw last letter. I heard
from the State Department, and it appears that the
Imigration quota from Germauy to the United Statee is
alrea4y ehmated for a mober of years ahad. Aooortngly,
even those imigrants who have assurance of employment
will have to wait atil their turn is reached, and m wait
several years. therefore I would recomend for your con-
sideration the possible opening in South Africa mtioned
in my last letter. Let as know your prefereas as scon
as yo @an,
Sincerely yours,
Aldo Leopold
