Dear Herbert.-

I think I understand all of your letter and all of tVe attached
document with the possible exception of one statement: "The thing
may scare John Baker off as too dangerous". Does this mran the
national park cormplicstion or the oattle vs. wildlife nremise?
I would not really care which, but you might let me know some
time what you had in mind.
I would be willing to represent the Andubon Society if you want
me toand if John Baker consents and sees nothing wrong about any
of this, eitor financial or the conditions of particitation.
As for sticking our necks out, I am certainly ready to go anywhere
you are. I aporeciate your taking me into your c-nfidence, but
there U7, nothing in the documents that really surprises me. I had
Inferred more or l-ss all of the issues which you point out.
You and I have nev r had a chance to team up for n fi t, and I
think I would enjoy it.
With best regards,

Yours sincerely,
Aldo Leonold
