Dear "rofessor Leopold:
While it may seem a bit early
to be doing things I have arranged for a "Museumful
Wisconsin Centennial Bus Tour"again and this time
thru Racine County.
We are timing it with the anniversary of the
passing of Gov. Goodland and are holding at the
suggestion of local farmers a simple sort of a
tribute..The local arrangements committee went
ahead on the basis of us spearheading the idea with
a bus tour...
While the 'official' publicity did not contain
my request that citizens who desire submit tributes,
maybe it sounded too far fetched, we have asked all
those who were on the ballot when Goodland was a
candidate to *rite tributes.
The idea is to have something to say about
his concept of good government, etc., If you care
to we would appreciate it if you would write or
speak some words that could help to orient the
'citizen-side' of the countryside.
Thanks.
