  • Decoration: Painted. Three repeats of flower sprays with insects and asterisks. Lid decoration echoes that on body. Borders composed of fretwork bands with floral and foliate reserves, horizontal lines, and (on lid) circles. Red number "2" on lid interior, blue number "2" on bowl interior, and asterisk centered on bottom of bowl.
