Dish

  • 1800-1835
  • The front of the dish is coated with a white engobe and decorated with green, purple-black, and reddish-orange slip. Sherds of dishes with similar profiles and decoration were recovered at Solomon Loy’s pottery site. This dish may be an early example of his work or the product of one of Loy’s predecessors in the St. Asaph’s tradition.
