• Manitowoc Illustrated 1891 included these views of Hanson's Wagon Works and Repository, 708 York Street. Andrew Hanson not only built and sold wagons, barouches, and carriages, he also housed them and rented them out to clients. City directories list Hanson in 1875 as a blacksmith and wagon maker on Buffalo Street with the business moving to the York Street location in the mid-1880's.
