       TIlE CLOSED-SEASON LAW 
     It is unlawful to fish for trout, bass, crappie, 
 jack salmon, and goggle-eye between March 1 
 and May 30. Trout, however, may be fished 
 in the waters of State Parks during that period. 
 It is unlawful to fish for channel cat between 
 June 10 and July 10. The period closed to 
 fishermen in favor of the above named game 
 fish, constitutes their spawning season. Such 
 fish should be immediately returned to the 
 water if accidentally caught. Wet the hands 
 before removing them from the hook.
