• Jean Brooks begins a new series of the 4-H Music Program by introducing listeners to The Song of the Volga Boatmen, a Russian folk song. She reads a passage of What We Hear in Music by Anne Shaw Faulkner which details Russian music and dances. Jean proceeds to play an instrumental example of the song before students of the University School of Music sing it.
