The vocal scores were published by White, Smith and Co. of Boston (pl. no. 5214) and Cranz of Hamburg (pl. no. 25875). The White, Smith editions are in English and German; the Cranz in German and Italian. Several copies bear signatures of performers; two are arranged as stage manager's guides. The orchestra parts, the vocal parts, and chorus parts are holographs by Cranz. Several carry the stamps of Hugo Wald and Theodor Giesrau. The two librettos are both in German. One is published by Samisch & Goldman of New York [1885?] and is 56 pages. The other is 147 pages and is published by Cranz.
The promptbooks are in English and German. Thirteen copies are typed, in English, and some list performers' names in preliminaries. Three are manuscript, one of which is for Act III only. Two are mimeo. The remaining promptbook is in German and is a holograph. The dialogue parts are manuscript and in German. Performers' names appear handwritten on the covers. Stamps of J. Icuack, Hugo Wald, and S. Hernfeld, Schauspieler & Sänger appear on several copies.
