PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES

A number of professional clubs and societies for the promotion of
interest in specific lines of academic or technical work have been organized
and are usually maintained under the guidance of the departments con-
cerned. In other departments where no such organization has been effected,
similar results are reached by means of senior and graduate seminaries.
