BACTERIOLOGY

BIOLOGY

Study in the biological sciences is conducted in the independent though
coordinated departments of Botany, Zoology, Anatomy, Physiology, Physio-
logical Chemistry, Genetics, Pathology and Medical Bacteriology, Pharma-
cology and Toxicology, Plant Pathology, and Agricultural Bacteriology.

1. GENERAL BioLocy. Yr; 5 cr. An elementary one-year course in
general biology may be taken by combining Botany 1 and Zoology 1,
both of which are given each semester. Either one may precede the
other, although the normal order is to follow botany with zoology.
Introductory to botany, zoology, anatomy, bacteriology, and physi-
ology. (See Botany 1 and Zoology 1.)

310. THE TEACHING OF BioLoGy. Yr; 3 cr. First semester, zoology;
second semester, botany. Prerequisite: Junior standing. 2:30 TT.
