MAJOR IN CLOTHING AND TEXTILES

The major in clothing and textiles is planned to meet the needs of the
student who expects to teach clothing and textiles. Students who elect a
minor in sociology (page 220) may prepare themselves for social work and
those wishing to go into store work may elect courses in economics and
salesmanship which will fit them for such positions. Those preparing for
costume design work should take added courses in fine and applied arts and
history.

Home Economics electives are to be selected from the following courses:
