OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 5089; Built by Captain Sam Beatty and S. McClure at a cost of $30,000; built at Ironton and finished at Cincinnati, August 1870, with engines from the Mollie Norton. They ran her Cincinnati-New Orleans and sold her to H. King of New Albany, Indiana in 1873. When he was killed in an accident that winter, John DeHart bought her and ran her first Cincinnati-Tennessee River, then took her to New Orleans and ran to Ouachita River. She burned while laid up with the Colossal at St. Louis, March 9, 1878
