The oal informtion I heve on bald sl is that
six or eight of the usually winter on the Wisconsin River just
below the Prairie du Sao dam, where they eat fieh which have
been iaIred in the turbines. During the winter the are
narrowly restricted to the im.4iate vicintyF of the dam, but
toward. spring they are likely to be eea anywhere along the
Wiseonsin River. Thq do not nest there ad are usually gone
by the ead of Uamh.
I a very anxious to get an eagle nest both on w
own place and on the University Arboretum, bt I have no infer-
mation on when they last nested in southern Wisconsin. I will
be such iaterested ia yor compilation, particila. the data
on breoding range.
With beet r rs,
Sincerely yours#
