Burke, a cotton packet, she entered the Louisville and Cincinnati trade October 28, 1919; that winter she was rebuilt at Mound City, Illinois, and altered to become an Ohio River packet, boiler deck lowered, and cotton guards removed. She was renamed John W. Hubbard and, along with the Queen City, became a regular in that trade until 1929. When Louisville and Cincinnati Packet Company failed in 1932, she went to the Greene Line, who never operated her
