PINE COEs 
*As I am leaving this Forest with the probability 
that I will not return, I wish to say a word or two before 
going and thank one and all for the support that has been 
given me in the diffioult work of reorganization and tho so- 
lution of the many problems that have arisen in connection 
with the work, 
I wish to express to you my appreoiation of this 
loyal support, and the best thing I oan wish my uooessor is 
that the sane support will be given him. 
From my knowledge of the personnel I feel that suooess 
awaits eaoh and every one of you, and suooess in our ohosen 
work is worth every effort and is the main reward. 
With my best wishe for the hamppinoss and pros- 
pority of overyonay and with a grateful appreoiation of 
your assistanoe in the work, whioh has been oheerfully 
rendered, I am#

I think that we are voioing the sentiment of oaoh 
and every offioor of this Forest when we expross a feeling 
of regret at Pr. Hall's departure from the Carson.  In bohalf 
of the Forest foroe, the PINE 0ONE extends to him sinoore 
best wishes from one and all* It is hoped that the work 
whioh he has so ably put under way may Oontinue to progressp 
and that we the offioors of the Forest, in our dealings 
with oaoh other and with the people whom we serve# may at all 
times be guided by a sinoere oourtesy and firnoss; and by

in Junea 19111 will oontinue to be issued monthlyt and 
its objeot will oontinuo to be as so ably expressed in the 
first issues 
OIt in hoped that when this CONE is oponed 
it will soatter seeds of knowledge# onoou'agement 
and enthusiasm among the member# and oreate interest 
in tho work. May those soods fall on fertile soil 
and eaoh and everyone of them germinate, grow and
