Tape 1, Side 1, Part 7 - More plum and apple trees were across the road. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 8 - Canning and storing fruit. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 9 - Drying apples. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 10 - Location of older garden. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 11 - Cow beets and their utilization. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 12 - Location of first house, and its later use. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 13 - Homesteading. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 14 - Machine shed and old garage locations along with other old structures. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 15 - Tobacco growing and use. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 16 - Older house across the road of DeGrand's. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 17 - Used the old logs of their house for the present chicken coop. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 18 - Location of old fences. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 19 - Pig pasture - has been relatively unchanged. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 20 - Old barn - locations of cow barn and the storage of milk, temporary. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 21 - Old pump was a windmill at one time. Water was pumped to the barn underground. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 22 - The barn was used as a granary and thresh floor. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 23 - There used to be a cow path to the pasture on the other side of the highway which went under the road. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 24 - They usually had around twenty milk cows. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 25 - Location of the path to the barn. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 26 - Location of brooder house yard. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 27 - Location of the old outhouse. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 28 - Never had an inside brooder, within the house. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 29 - Location of the summer kitchen and outdoor oven and their use. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 30 - The original builder. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 31 - The summer kitchen and oven were built later. The process of building the farm house. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 32 - All the people living in the house, originally. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 33 - There is presently a shrine next door, but across the road, earlier it had been on the same side of the highway until it was widened. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 34 - The first chapel was built of stone in the garden. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 35 - Acquisition of the property across the highway. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 36 - Cooperative farming effort, before the family broke up. Tape 1, Side 1, Part 37 - End.
