The six bays and lancet windows at the east end are Early English of the 13th C. The piers of the arcade are circular with eight detached Purbeck marble shafts with Purbeck stiff-leaf capitals and annulets. The arches of the arcade have roll moldings with a fillet and a single row of dogtooth. The corbels supporting the vaulting shafts have stiff-leaf crockets.
