A Yao (Iu Mien) girl in the town of Nam Kheung (LS-150, PC 3256) in Houa Khong Province offering rice liquor, "lao lao", to guests at the Yao New Year and new market dedication celebrations. It is the Yao custom to offer a "shot" of liquor to guests coming from outside the town to the New Year celebrations. The liquor is made from distilled rice. She wears a silver neck ring and her turban is crisscrossed with silver threads.
