- Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company, South Fifteenth and Franklin Streets, around 1899. Founded in 1898 by Henry Vits with $20,000 capital, the firm produced everything from the famous "Manitowoc comb" to collapsible drinking cups. The company became Mirro Aluminum later.
