The Xe Namnoi River at a crossing point near the Nyaheun village of Lassasine in Attapu Province

  • USAID Community Development Advisor Bill Sage squats on the banks of the Xe Namnoi River near the Nyaheun village of Lassasine (XB 7364, LS-130) in Attapu Province. Villagers use a bamboo raft to cross the river during the rainy season. During the dry season, there are points where the river can be crossed on foot wading across.
