Peterborough Cathedral nave ceiling closeup

• The ceiling is Norman from 1220-1238 with a lozenge pattern. It has been repainted several times with the original designs. The painted figures are all different varying from religious to mythical to secular. Here is the center running top to bottom are figures of a saint, kings and a bishop.
