Henry Willert, retired fire chief and president of Two Rivers Historical Society, carves buoys for gill nets on a schnitzelbank, or "drawing horse," a woodworking tool used in Germany prior to the industrial revolution. Around 1873, the schnitzelbank was used by commercial fishermen in Two Rivers. This particular piece of equipment was donated by an early fishing family to Rogers Street Fishing Village.
