The versos of those leaves contain two other manuscript novels by another hand: "Lady Lu" (beginning on the verso of leaf 135, and "Rebecca" (beginning on the verso of leaf 220). These texts run in the opposite direction and orientation from the untitled work on the the rectos and their leaves are unnumbered.
• Leaves numbered by the writer of the untitled work in upper right-hand corner. A number of leaves are lacking; leaf 228 is mutilated.
