Summary

• Attributed to the Bethabara pottery during Rudolph Christ’s tenure as master. The front of this dish is coated with a brown engobe and decorated with black, green, and white slip. A small drop of lead glaze on the marly shows how the slip colors would have matured during the glaze firing. These fragments were recovered at the site of Rudolph Christ’s waster dump Bethabara.
