Pestle referred to as "Pestle child of the mortar and of pounded yam, which means Oshagiyan (Oshaguian)." Oshagiyan (Oshaguian) is called the owner of yams and they sing the following song in his honor when the pestle is brought out: "kaka kamba aka ka ka kamba" and then the chorus sings "uku, uku."
