NG204, Stūpa Storey

  • Portion of a circular storey of a miniature stūpa bordered on the bottom by rounded and flat moldings and at the top by a cornice of cyma reversa brackets with vertical central grooves and a plain molding at the upper edge. The figured field contains four seated Buddha figures each with hands in held in dhyāna mudrā. The figures are separated by trees. There is a groove and socket on the upper side of the stone.
